Former Governor Satyapal Malik's Viral Video Prediction and Reaction to Arvind Kejriwal's Arrest

A video clip featuring Satyapal Malik, the former Governor of Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, and Meghalaya, has stirred a storm on social media, especially in the wake of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's recent arrest related to the excise policy case. In this viral video, Malik can be heard making a startling prediction about Kejriwal's arrest before the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024. The video, originally from an interview with the BBC, captures Malik's confident assertion that Kejriwal would "100% be arrested before the general elections."

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Malik shared the video on X, accompanied by a scathing caption targeting the Modi government's alleged misuse of government agencies. He accused the ruling government of orchestrating Kejriwal's arrest for political gains, labeling the Prime Minister as a "coward dictator" misusing national agencies.

Malik's vocal criticism didn't stop there. Reacting to Kejriwal's arrest, he further lambasted the Modi government on X, stating that by arresting the Delhi Chief Minister, they have effectively sealed their own fate and driven the final nail into their political coffin.

It's worth noting that Malik's commentary comes against the backdrop of his own encounters with government scrutiny. In February of the same year, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) carried out extensive raids, targeting over 30 locations, including premises linked to Satyapal Malik, in connection with alleged corruption surrounding the Kiru Hydroelectric project in Jammu and Kashmir. Malik, during that time, voiced his defiance against what he termed as unjust harassment, asserting his solidarity with farmers and his resolve to withstand such pressures.

The convergence of Malik's prediction, the subsequent events, and his vocal response on social media have added fuel to the ongoing political discourse, raising questions about the integrity of government actions and the extent of political manoeuvring in the lead-up to crucial elections.
